AI story game

An AI story game that ends somewhere

Start from one line. The AI writes the scene, you choose or write what happens next, and the story builds to a real ending in about ten to fifteen scenes.

Start a story
  1. Give it one line

A person, a problem and a clock: “The next station announcement gives tomorrow’s date.” Or tap New ideas and pick one.

  2. Play it scene by scene

Each scene ends with choices written for that moment. Take one, or type your own move.

  3. Get an ending

Stories are written towards a climax, not forever. Then keep it as a book, or go back and try the other path.

Or try a story first

Why most AI stories wander, and how these do not

An AI that just continues text will happily go on for ever, forget who people are, and solve every problem by introducing a new one. Every scene here is written with a plan: the story knows where it is in its arc, answers its questions before it asks new ones, and keeps track of what you carry and how each person feels about you.

Before a scene is saved, an editor pass reads it for length and for slips against what has already happened. When a person’s feelings change, you see it under the scene.

Your characters, your pictures

Bring characters from your library into a story, with their looks and history, and they stay the same people in every scene. With Plus, every scene gets a manga-style picture drawn from that scene, with your characters as you designed them.

Free to start

Sign up free to play with live AI: you get a daily allowance of AI-written scenes, and our own stories are always free to play. Plus raises the allowance and adds a picture to every scene.

Questions

Is the AI story game free?
Yes, to start: a free account gets a daily allowance of AI-written scenes, and the stories we wrote are free to play without limits. Plus adds more scenes a day and a picture for every scene.
Can I write my own moves?
Yes. Under every scene there is a box for your own move. The next scene is written from what you typed.
Does the story remember what happened?
Yes. It keeps what you carry, where you are and how each person feels about you, and uses them in later scenes and choices.
Who owns what I write?
Your stories are private until you publish them. Story text is never kept in our usage logs.
